Flashclient

Flashclient is the directory which contains the game files of Panfu. The latest version was built on December 1, 2014,^[1] and was named flashclient-20141201.

The naming scheme uses YYYYMMDD, and if more than one update were pushed within one day, they would add the letter b (or a depending on the developer) and increment it for every update.

Trivia[]

The folder flashclient has the main file of the game Panfu.swf inside of it. In the first update that released on November 1, 2007, the main game file app.swf was located inside a sub-folder called swf, which now only contains the minigames.
On March 16, 2010, they incremented the letter all the way to m, meaning they most likely did 13-14 updates on that day.
If more than one update was planned in a day, they sometimes called the first update flashclient-YYYYMMDDa. An example of this is the update flashclient-20101130a, released on November 30, 2010.

- Version 1.0.11 released on January 11, 2008.
- Version 1.0.12 released on January 13, 2008.
- Version 1.0.14 released on January 19, 2008.
- Version 1.0.17 released on January 25, 2008.
- Version 1.0.18 released on January 27, 2008.
- Version 1.0.19 released on January 29, 2008.
- Version 1.0.20 released on February 2, 2008.

  - This was the last numbered update until December 1, 2009, named flashclient-20091201b, which was the first release use of the YYYYMMDD naming scheme.
Oloko's latest flashclient was named flashclient-oloko-20131115.
The flashclient was hosted on origin.web.hetzner.panfu.com (ip 5.9.239.3) since May 26, 2015.^[2]

↑ flashclient-20141201 was modified atleast three times, once on December 8, 2014, as evidenced by the snippets build date, presumably to add a chat closure popup for Panfu.de and Panfu.com, again on December 17, 2014 to update Krunchi, as evidenced by the build date of krunchi.swf, and finally in March 2015 to remove the snow. The fourth build seems to be a modified version of flashclient-20140328, an unreleased build of the flashclient, as evidenced by the German snippets' build dates, and since items related to Edeka Quest, the room and furniture from Krunchi, and clothing, playercards and a tree-house released on July 1, 2014 are missing. This is also proven by the room config of the Booster cave in flashclient-20141201, which only has dates until May 16, 2014, while flashclient-20140701 has dates from May 21, 2014 until July 23, 2014.
