My Son is a Pirate is a quest in Panfu. It is based around Fred threathening to fill the Panfu Island with blank ink as he claims Nasir stole his gold.
In this quest you get to meet two new characters: Fred and Nasir. The quest is followed by The Magic Ice Diamond.
Trivia[]
- The quest came out on May 19, 2009.
- It was originally a temporary quest, but became a permanent quest after the Quest Book was introduced on May 26, 2009.
- It was originally capitalized as My son is a pirate. This was however changed with the rework of the Quest Book in February 2011 to the current capitalization.
- Removed code shows Fred was originally supposed to smile sometime in the quest, presumably after delivering the treasure back to him, which we never see in the released quest.
- In the released version of the quest, he disappears from the Caribbean Beach after the treasure is found, and never becomes happy.
- Other removed code also shows the pandas were also supposed to read a diary about the treasure while on the Pirate Island, this most likely being the diary of Pandabeard. This was deactivated, but appeared in the quest in May 2009.
- A television commercial titled Pirate Adventure aired specifically for this quest.
