Room of Shadows (also known as the Darkroom) is a room in Panfu, located in the Great Hall of the Castle.
How to get here[]
The room can be accessed by sitting on the trapdoor at the Great Hall for three seconds.
Secret Event: Darkroom Glow Puzzle[]
By clicking on the skull that occasionally rolls around, the pandas can start a secret event, called Darkroom Glow. A mosaic will appear, and the panda can click on the skull to change the direction it rolls. Once the skull rolls over an unmarked square, it will light up. When all squares is lit, the mosaic will transform into one circle. After doing this five times, the circles will form a pentagon. If the panda throws a water balloon anywhere on the pentagon, the circle that was hit will light up, sending an electric beam to the other circles, forming the complete pentagon. The panda then gets teleported into the middle of the pentagon, where all the circles shoot at the panda, creating a colored cloud glow around the panda. A glow button also gets enabled in the Navigation.
Trivia[]
- One can exit the room by walking to any corner of the screen, where they then will be teleported to a random room. The random exits are decided on room load.
- The room was made by Der_Krasse.[1]
- The game was originally 10% faster and didn't hide players and the Navigation (and What's Hot). The skull would also roll in all angles, instead of just pointed against the undetected mosaics. This was fixed on July 27, 2012.[1]
- The game's code is located in the proxy of the room.
- The game's tracking is named SECRETEVENT_DARKROOM_GLOW.
- Throwing a water balloon onto the cob web to the right turns the panda into a spider.
- Throwing a water balloon onto Panager makes the panda translucent.
